This sculpture is an abstract interpretation of Robert W. CrownMemorial State Beach in Alameda CA. It is a park where I frequently walk my dog. I took inspiration from the various textures and shapes of natural and man-made elements. When creating this sculpture I wanted to showcase that light plays a significant role in how we take in the world. This sculpture is a great interpretation of how my mind functions.As I walk around my mind is in a constant state of creating. I see all these shapes and textures and reshape them in my mind.
