The abstract depiction of the journey of my immigrant brother coming to America at 7 years old. The stories he has told me throughout the years, contrasted with my life as a toddler leading up to the day we met. While no child should have to face such a treacherous journey; no sibling should have to grow up never meeting their sibling. This created a better future for my brother and the opportunity to be a family with our parents.
